The Moveable Feast

It's been a couple of chilly weeks. Luckily, when you're constantly on the move(thanks to Lauren for getting us all up at 9AM and forcing us to sight see for hours and hours) we keep ourselves warm. A writer once called Paris the "Moveable Feast." Now I understand why. All we did in Paris was go to museums and EAT. EAT. EAT. of course, balanced out by the 5,491+ stairs(yes, we counted) that we climbed over the week.

But then we went to Brussels, Belgium where there wasn't much to see or do except enjoy their delicious food. Ever heard of Belgian waffles...belgian chocolate...belgian beer? Can't guarantee I'm going to be the skinniest girl in the world when I get back from this trip. Today I am going to Italy...pizza, pasta and gelato (Italian ice cream). Enough said. I'm so excited for Italy though, after a couple of weeks in the cold, rainy north, the warm weather couldn't come at a better time. Yesterday, I went to a castle in Germany which was on top of a mountain. We went exploring in the nature on the way down and I ripped the only pair of jeans that I brought with me(they've been getting a lot more wear in the past months than they are meant for). Looking forward to wearing shorts and dresses!
